Fusion Recruitment is currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our client’s team based in the East Rand. About the Role:
As a Sales Administrator, you will be a key point of contact for the sales department, responsible for handling a wide range of administrative and customer service tasks. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales process by supporting sales representatives, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
You’ll work closely with both the internal team and external clients to ensure orders are processed correctly, timelines are met, and all communication is clear and professional. This role requires someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales and business development teams
- Process and follow up on sales orders, quotations, and purchase requisitions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Communicate with clients regarding order statuses, deliveries, and invoicing
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports for management
- Assist with the preparation of presentations, proposals, and tenders
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products
- Manage customer databases and ensure information is correctly captured in the CRM system
- Resolve customer queries and issues efficiently and professionally
- Support the onboarding process for new clients and handle administrative follow-ups
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and documentation standards
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
- Diploma or certificate in Administration, Sales, or a related field (advantageous)
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a Sales Administrator or Sales Support role
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience using CRM or ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, or Pastel (advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under pressure
