Position Summary:
We are seeking a well-spoken, motivated, and customer-focused Customer Care Agent to support our Contact Centre operations. This individual will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring that all inbound calls are answered promptly and handled with care, professionalism, and efficiency. The role requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all inbound customer calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Respond to customer inquiries by providing accurate, satisfactory answers to their questions and concerns.
- Log and track customer interactions through the company’s CRM system.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for resolution.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Provide feedback to management on recurring issues or areas for improvement.
- Achieve performance targets related to call handling, resolution time, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with company products, services, policies, and procedures to effectively assist customers.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through consistent and quality service delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Matric / Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a call centre or customer service role will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with general customer service practices and contact centre operations.
- Comfortable using computers, office systems, and CRM software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
