FlySafair is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to support its warehouse and logistics operations based in Johannesburg. Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining stock accuracy, assisting with the receipt and dispatch of goods, and supporting day-to-day warehouse functions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that inventory and equipment are managed effectively to support our operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming stock and materials
- Pick and dispatch stock accurately and on time
- Assist with regular stock counts and inventory audits
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure inventory meets demand
- Load and unload deliveries following proper procedures
- Label and tag stock for easy identification and tracking
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Operate warehouse equipment when needed (training provided if required)
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) certificate
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
- Basic computer literacy (inventory systems experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety standards
- Willingness to work flexible hours if required
